Reproducing an original work by Pierre Legrain, the Moutarde design brings a sense of movement to the heavy geometric elements of its Art Deco influence. Legrain was a key figure in early 20th century French bookbinding. He was commissioned by Jacques Doucet to create unique bindings for Doucet’s impressive library.
Ribbon marker and Smyth-sewn binding; pages lie flat. 176 lined pages of 100gsm, acid-free sustainable forest paper. Measures 5" x 7".
